1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

Roll dough into 1 inch balls; place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F for 8-10 minutes until firm to the touch but not brown. Do not overbake. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool; re-roll in powdered sugar before serving.

My family has always made these at Christmastime. The only reason I had to search for the recipe is because the family cookbook is so ancient. One of the only recipes that have gone missing are of course, the Russian Tea Cakes. Love these! five stars
