Walnut Butter Cookies

Makes about 24

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup of cornstarch
1/2 cup powered sugar
3/4 cup butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 300 F. Sift together flour, cornstarch, and powdered sugar into large bowl. Add butter and mix well. Stir in walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake about 20 minutes or until cookies turn slightly golden.

Would make this again.
should be called diabetic cookie

add evaporated milk, vanilla, and after baking dust them with powdered sugar five stars

Would make this again.
The dough was so dry, it was impossible to hold it together. I had to add water, a few drops at a time, to get the right consistency. The cookies turned out quite good, despite the problems. three stars

These cookies would have been delicious if they weren't so dry. Also, I think making them in balls and rolling them in powdered sugar after baking would improve the taste. two stars

This recepie was very "yummy" as my kids called it. I love walnuts so I put another 1/2 cup in and they tasted great! five stars
